WBMF was established to facilitate multidisciplinary brain, spine, and mental health to expedite the integration and translation of cutting-edge technologies into neuroscience while focusing on translating state-of-the-art technologies from Space and defense industries into neuroscience to bring the most advanced medicine to wounded warriors, veterans and, civilians.
The Foundation supports a variety of projects, including research and development of pioneering neuro-technologies; Medtech, PharmaTech, CellTech; imaging techniques, novel surgical technologies and therapeutics to visualize and treat brain spinal cord and mental health diseases.
WBMF also provides educational programs and resources to researchers; especially young investigators, clinicians, and the public. The Foundation aims to accelerate the pace of neuroscience discovery and improve people’s lives.
WBMF’s impact reaches far beyond borders. We deliver the latest science, technology, and medicine to those in conflict zones and areas lacking proper neuroscience care.
WBMF doesn’t just invest in research, we invest in people. We offer educational programs and resources to equip young researchers, clinicians, and the public with the knowledge to revolutionize brain health, by investing for a world where veterans, civilians, and even those in war-torn regions have access to the most advanced brain, spine, and mental health treatments. WBMF is making that vision a reality.
WBMF works alongside the Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics (SBMT) to advocate for policies that bring better preventive diagnostics and treatments to everyone. We fund groundbreaking SBMT initiatives like the Brain Technology and Innovation Park and the Nanobioelectronics Center.
